Junior Building Estimator

Full-time, Wonthaggi

An opportunity is available for a person to join our team of building estimators, administrators, and designerswith onsite training provided.

The role includes:

 Placing of purchase orders

 Liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors

 Approving invoices

 Quantity take offs from plans

 Reading and understanding plans and specifications

 Facilitating work variations

 Assisting with building enquiries

This position will best suit a person who has:

 Familiarity with computers and mathematically sound

 Interest in building construction or background in building

 Good communication skills

 Ability to be accurate and attention to detail

 Problem Solving skills

 Interested in further development

We are a reputable, well-established construction company, and are seeking an eager individual who wants to progress or start their career. This position will be of interest to a person with building experience or a person with a genuine interest to enter the building industry. On-site and off-site training will be provided as required.

Remuneration will be reflective of experience.

Apprentice Carpenter

Coldon Homes is offering the great opportunity for a keen and reliable person looking for a career pathway as a fully qualified carpenter.

We have a position available for an enthusiastic person looking to start or continue their carpentry apprenticeship in the South Gippsland area. 

The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Carpentry. The ideal candidate for this role will:

 Have a great attitude towards work, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.

 Be punctual, reliable and hardworking.

 Able to follow directions.

 Must have a driver’s license.

 Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified carpenter.
