About the Role
This dynamic, full-time role is ideal for someone with a trade background or strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in the building industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide essential administrative support to our building supervisors, liaise with clients, manage trade procurement, and assist with the day-to-day tasks that keep our projects running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement of Trades: Source and onboard new subcontractors as needed to support construction schedules.
Trade Purchase Orders: Create and manage trade purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Site Supervisor Support: Provide admin and scheduling support to the building supervisors team.
Client Communication: Respond to client enquiries regarding building contracts, project updates, and variations.
Variation Management: Assist with the preparation and tracking of contract variations.
Manager Support: Support the General Manager and management team with general administrative and coordination tasks.
Skills & Attributes
Previous experience in residential construction (preferred)
Ability to read and understand building plans, contracts and specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working person to undertake general maintenance duties across our Coldon building sites located in Venus Bay, Sandy Point, Walkerville, Foster, Inverloch and surrounding areas.
Experience in general maintenance/repairs and confidence to carry out a variety of works is a must.
Duties will include:
– General handyperson and installation duties
– Troubleshooting and resolving issues
– Basic carpentry duties
– Painting touch ups
– Liaising with customers
The successful candidate must have their own transport, tools, ABN and public liability insurance.
